How Backcountry Travellers can reduce chances of conflict with Heli-skiers

Whistler Heliskiing has assured us that they try to avoid backcountry skiers.

You can phone them (1-888-435-4754) or email them at whistlerheliskiing@whistlerblackcomb.com  asking for Junichi and letting him know your trip plans in advance. He is the current person dealing with this avoidance procedure. He also indicated that if they do see backcountry skiers in an area they are flying to, they will try to avoid them.
